My name is Tom and I love pizza. My first Pizza memory is of a Chicago Deep dish cheese pizza and thinking the slice was so big, the cheese pull seemed to never end and the sauce was everywhere. I can’t remember the name of the Pizzaria but I can close my eyes and still see that slice of pizza. I worked as delivery driver for Dominos for 3 years where I learned how a high volume pizza place operated. It was an eye opening experience but my obsession with pizza was set.
I started making Pizzas seriously, like many, during the Pandemic and made about 200 pizzas. I made Sicilian, Chicago deep dish, Detroit style, New York style, Neapolitan and tavern style. I read all the pizza cook books I could get my hands on, watched hours of YouTube, attended online classes and tried pizza everywhere I traveled.
I am on a journey to learn how to make great pizza.
My Kids call me Father Focaccia.
